Tinned Brass spoon, oval bowl with rat tail and rounded tip

Brass spoon are common in period document and also at archaelogical sites. Some were tinned, and other simply polished.

This one is reproduced form an original specimen dated from the 1750's which remnants of tinning. Tin plating was protecting brass from oxydation.
