English Cuttoe - Hunting Sword - Bone grip

One of the many variation of the light hunting sword or cuttoe. The name came from the French "couteau de chasse" wich means hunting knife.

This lightweight side arm was favored by gentlemen as well by American and British officier, both on land and sea. This well balanced has many nice features, like the cap between the guard and the blade. This cap goes over the scabbard's throat and prevents the rain from getting in.

A less formal weapon, with a lot of class.
