French military musket sling (brass buckle)

This imitated red Russia leather sling is appropriate for Tulle military muskets and for infrantry regulation pattern muskets models 1728, 1746 and 1754. Crossed hatch pattern stamped in leather strap.

This most squarrish buckle appears also in period illustrations.
